70 Years Ago—Apr. 12, 1942: Pandit Nehru, head of Indian Congress Party, pledges to cooperate with Allies. On Cebu US Gen. Chynoweth retreats to mountains to organize resistance.

  1. Not all of us are aware about the great war and suffering our forefathers experienced just to give us the life we are enjoying now, so sad there are few willing to learn these issues.

  2. Thanks for stopping by! I agree that most people don't know enough about history, but I've been pleasantly surprised by how many people are fascinated by history and are willing to learn. I'm so thankful! We can't begin to understand today's world without understanding the past.
