Years Ago—July 10, 1942: German Army Group A opens drive to Rostov and
the Caucasus, Group B to Stalingrad. At El Alamein, Australians take Tel el
Eisa and Tel el Makh.
Sarah, I'm listening to a book on CD about a literary society formed during German occupation during WWII. I always think of you when I read about the war. Your books have given me a different perspective.
We miss you at Writer's group. Hope you can make our September Saturday at Sue's!
Cynthia - the "Guernsey Literary Society"? I loved that book!!!
I miss writers group too!! I very much want to start attending again. And I'd love to do the Saturday at Sue's. For the first time since 1999, I will NOT have a child playing soccer, so a Saturday might work.
